‘Subconscious Reset’ Ends the Cravings With a Personalized Hypnotherapy Plan
“Most people who struggle with their weight don’t actually lack discipline,” says Dr. Caitlin Jones, a behavioral psychologist and neuroscientist.
“They just have a brain that’s been trained to eat, crave, and cope on autopilot.”
For years, people have been told that weight loss is all about calories and motivation. But the truth is—it’s not your diet, your metabolism, or your willpower.“It’s your subconscious,” Dr. Jones explains.
“That’s where your habits, cravings, and emotional triggers live. And once we retrain that, healthy choices start to feel effortless.”
Dr. Jones has spent over 15 years studying the connection between the brain, emotions, and behavior change.
“What I discovered shocked even me,” she says. “Most diets and fitness programs focus on the conscious mind—on what you decide to eat or how often you exercise.”
“But real change happens below the surface.
That’s where your subconscious mind controls automatic thoughts like ‘I deserve a snack’ or ‘I’ll start fresh on Monday.’”
She calls her approach ‘neural reconditioning’—a form of hypnotherapy designed to reset the brain’s response to food, stress, and motivation.“It’s not magic. It’s neuroscience,” she explains.
“When you rewire how your subconscious reacts to triggers, you stop fighting your own mind.”

“When you try to ‘eat less and move more,’ you’re forcing change from the outside in,” says Dr. Jones.
“But your eating patterns, your stress eating, and your motivation all come from the inside—from the subconscious.”
That’s why so many people say they “know what to do” but can’t stick to it. Their brains are still wired for old comfort patterns.
You might notice:
“These aren’t personality flaws,” Dr. Jones explains.
“They’re subconscious programs that can be rewritten—quickly and permanently—with the right method.”
Cravings aren’t about hunger. They’re about brain chemistry.
“When you eat comfort food, your brain releases dopamine—the same reward chemical triggered by nicotine or alcohol,” Dr. Jones says.
“Over time, your brain learns that food equals relief, so it keeps seeking that reward.”
Add chronic stress to the mix, and it gets worse.

Elevated cortisol increases hunger and cravings, while lowering leptin—the hormone that tells you you’re full.
💡 In one controlled trial, participants who used hypnotherapy for weight loss lost significantly more weight and improved hormonal balance compared to those following a diet-only plan.
“That’s why hypnosis works,” Dr. Jones explains.
“It calms the stress response, resets your brain’s reward pathways, and helps you naturally eat less without feeling deprived.”
After years of research, Dr. Jones began exploring ways to make hypnotherapy more accessible.
She discovered a program called Kure, which uses the same neural-reconditioning principles she teaches—delivered through short, guided hypnosis sessions you can do at home.

“It wasn’t a gimmick,” she says.
“It was the first time I saw a tech-based solution using real neuroscience to help people change their eating habits.”
Kure’s 21-day plan uses 15-minute nightly sessions to:
Within days, her clients began noticing subtle but powerful shifts.
“Their cravings faded,” Dr. Jones recalls. “They were eating slower, feeling calmer—and they stopped thinking about food all the time.”
After a few weeks, the changes were even more noticeable.
“They were sleeping better, had more stable energy, and—most importantly—they weren’t stuck in that constant guilt-and-craving cycle.”
It wasn’t about restriction or punishment anymore. It was about reprogramming their mind to work for them, not against them.
“They didn’t need more willpower—they needed a subconscious reset,” Dr. Jones smiles.

I actually tried hypnotherapy for quitting smoking a few years ago, and it worked wonders for me. So why not give it a shot for weight loss too? Our minds are more powerful than we think! 🙌
I started this program 3 weeks ago. I have been struggling with weight loss for 15 years. This hit home for me on many levels. I feel like I’m in control. I have lost 21 lbs (252 to 231) and i know I can make it to 165. I ask myself before everything I eat, “does this help me or harm me?” I am proud of my progress and will continue. I know that I haven’t given up junk food forever, but I can limit myself to 1 slice instead of a whole pizza.
I’ve always believed that mind-body connection is key to health and love and light… I use meditation daily, I move my body in accordance with the universe… and I think adding hypnosis could be a great next step for me… Changing our thoughts really can change our lives…
